For this year’s SDCRN conference we have chosen a new venue: The Beardmore Hotel in Clydebank. It is next to the Golden Jubilee National Hospital.
It is situated on the banks of the River Clyde, near Glasgow. It combines the quality, ambience and standards of a four star hotel with the service and commitment of a Conference Centre of Excellence.
It was voted the Scottish Conference Hotel of the Year for two years running, and is recognised as Scotland’s national public sector conference centre. It is the ideal venue for a national dementia research conference. It is situated next door to the Beardmore Centre for Health Science which is used by researchers from throughout Scotland.
There is parking at the hotel. The nearest railway station is at Dalmuir which is a 10 minute walk.
Buses number 1, 1A and 1B run from Buchanan Street, Glasgow to the conference venue..
Overnight conference accommodation at the Beardmore Hotel can be booked from £74.40 Bed & Breakfast. Phone Claire Wilson (0141 951 6006) to make your booking.
