Conference 2012

The SDCRN will be having its second annual conference on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th March. 2012.

Day 1 of the conference is now fully booked.

The venue will be the Huntingtower Hotel, near Perth.

Day 1 of the conference is focused on people with dementia and their carers.  If you have dementia and know someone with dementia and want to know more about dementia research this conference is for you. Attendance is free.

Day 1 speakers include Professor John Starr, Terry McGrath, Shirley Law, Dr Joan Murphy, Professor Debbie Colson, Pauline Insch and Dr Peter Connelly.

Day 2 of the conference is about updating researchers on the current research progress in Scotland.

Day 2 speakers include Michael Matheson, MSP, Minister for Public Health, Dr Tom Russ, Dr Ravi Jampana, Dr Gary Morrison, Dr Derek Brown, Dr Neil Prentice, Dr Stephen Bell and Henry Simmons.
