Funding

The SDCRN do not provide funding. However, many organisations do. Here is a list of some of the funding opportunities.

Carnegie Trust for the Universities of Scotland

Small Research Grants
Eligibility: Members of staff or retired members of staff of a Scottish University can apply for small research grants, awarded for travel and accommodation expenses incurred while undertaking a project for up to three months. Maximum Award of £2,200.
Deadlines: 15th May 2012 and 15th October 2012.

The Dunhill Medical Trust

Medical Research Grants
These grants aim to support research with a focus on improving the health and wellbeing of older people.  The following areas are of particular interest: care of older people; research on the causes and treatment of disease, disability and frailty related to ageing.
